THE STORY BEHIND OUR WINTER CHOCOLATE

I’d like to share a little story behind one of our most special creations at Omnom—our Spiced White + Caramel chocolate. It all started with a memory that’s very dear to me and that many Icelanders can relate to, one that’s tied to the magic of Christmas during my childhood in Iceland.

Every year, as the holidays approached, our family would drink a holiday drink called Malt og Appelsín—a mix of malt beverage and orange soda. It’s a tradition that’s been passed down through generations in Iceland, and there’s something about the combination of the rich, malty sweetness and the bright, citrusy fizz that makes it taste like Christmas in a glass.

As I grew older, the scent of that drink, the spices in the air, and the warmth of the season stayed with me. I wanted to capture that feeling in chocolate—a way to share those memories with others. So, I set out to create a flavor that would evoke the same nostalgic comfort. The result was our Spiced White + Caramel chocolate. It’s a blend of smooth white chocolate, crunchy caramel, and a touch of festive spice, all wrapped up in a beautiful aroma that screams Christmas.

Each bite brings me back to those cozy holiday moments—the ones that remind me of home. I hope it brings you a little bit of that same warmth and nostalgia to wherever you live.
